When is the last time you learned something from LinkedIn?

Everyone talks about going on LinkedIn because it’s good to learn from peers and network and shit but how often do you actually learn something from these influencers posting everyday?

Maybe it’s just my timeline but majority of posts are high level BS just to get likes. Once in a while there’s a good post.

Am I following the wrong people? Who should I look for to learn about sales there?

The biggest mistake people make is not curating your feed. Get rid of the people who post BS and follow people who actually create useful content

Learn something productive? I honestly don’t think I ever have. I learned very quickly who all the asshats were though, unfollowed them and now I only follow connections I want, prospects, and target companies

I guess I'm either doing it right and not following enough people, or I'm missing out by not following enough people.

I have learned something nearly every day: Don't post a fucking poll if you want to remain respected.

I firmly believe that with our different life experiences you can learn something new from anyone.

Often, and from many on LI, I learn simply what not to do.

@sahil recently posted something on LinkedIn that was pretty 🔥 about how to respond when getting “big timed” by a prospect. (Yes it happens to CEOs too).
