Title Edit: AMA REQUEST

Would love to see an AMA with a recruiter or hiring manager from a top rated company or well-known 3rd party. We ask a lot of interview and/or resume based questions of each other here, and I love the peer-to-peer best practice sharing... but I'm thinking one single thread as a repository of info would be badass.

You should turn this into an AMA Request post, I'm sure there are lots of people and topics that can be covered.

I'd love to see a buyer from a big org in here to explain themselves-I mean, to answer questions for the betterment of the WR fam.

Someone from upper management would also be great to do an AMA for those AE/ICs looking to transition to sales management in the near future.

A VC to maybe do an AMA for those interested in joining startups but wanting some advice on what to look for in a good one.

I'm sure others have better ideas.

This is EXACTLY the type of thing I'm looking for. Things have, unfortunately, been growing a bit stale around here of late.

I saw @sahilengaging with a sales leader on LinkedIn about talking to the community, and she was all for it.

Perhaps that AMA would be a good place to start/re-start....

We need something to keep us coming back.

Yessss! I'd also love to ask someone in that position what I can do to overcome poor achievement due to misaligned expectations in an interview. I've been put in positions before that I had a "number" set with very little thought put behind it, and it's hard to articulate how/why your number was unattainable in a clear and concise manner without sounding like you're just a sore loser.

Love this! The AMAs last year were great and provided some good content.

Would love to hear from a CTO and/or CMO how to sell to them (and conversely, how NOT to sell to them). This is pretty much specific to tech sales, so I'm sure others will have other more interesting AMA ideas.
