Best SaaS companies to work?

My fellow sales savages, looking for the next company to call home and curious to hear everyone's input on the best places to be these days.

Edit - after some solid comments, I agree the post was half-ass.

Update:

I've been selling into Sales & Marketing teams for the past 10 years in both CRM & Digital Marketing software. #1 thing I look for in a company is a great Sr. Leadership team, followed by product-market fit & growth potential. I've been putting together a list of places to target and mapping my connections but was posting here to see if there are any companies that pop up that I forgot about or don't know about yet.

Work for somewhere that's truly making the world a better place, like Seamless, Gong, Vaynerchuck Media, etc. I honestly think we would have full scale WW3 if it weren't for the companies I mentioned.

Well what do you enjoy? Security? Virtual Porn Software? Servers? HR software? CRMs?

I would start there, and then look at RepVue and glassdoor. There are millions of SaaS companies, pick an industry you are interested in and narrow it down.

There's no such thing as "Best company". There's the company with all my friends, the best benefits package, best compensation, best fit for my personality, etc. But there is probably a "best for you" company out there. Good luck in finding it.

Yeah this is basically the best answer. SaaS is such a broad field, you need to narrow it down based on personal interests, culture, comp, etc. Otherwise if you just go off of what we say in here you may end up at a company that someone else loves but you hate

I would consider a couple factors:

What does the company do? Does that interest you? Even if it's a "great company to work for" if you don't care about the product then you won't enjoy working there..

What size company are you comfortable in? Do you like structure and predictability in your job? Then look for a bigger more established company. Do you like fast-paced chaos and constant change but lots of random opportunities to try new things? Then go for more of a growth stage start up.

A great way to hear senior leaders talk about their company is using listennotes.com. Find podcasts they're on and you'll get a real good sense of the overall business and culture. I'd also talk to former employees at the company. They're often more candid. Hope that helps narrow your list.
