Best short message for getting a meeting at a conference?

Hey savages,

I`m attending a conference next week and plan to reach out to all my 1st connections I have on LinkedIn from that particular city that might be attending the same.

I want to hear some best practices for short, friendly, impactful messages that might get a response and book me so face time.

Most of these connections I haven`t met in person, some of them I`ve exchanged messages with, been on calls with and a very few met in person too.

Appreciate any suggestions!

They call me Daddy, Sales Daddy
Subject line= Conference name?
Message= Are you panning on attending <conference>?

Keeping it super short increases engagement. No one wants to read 3-4 well thought out paragraphs, etc.

If/when they reply you can engage more deeply.

When I was a SDR, I did a lot of outreach via text when my AE was onsite at an event. Could be a good way to do it closer to the date.

In terms of pre conference tho - would def suggest stick to LinkedIn mostly. And a short message would suffice: Hey (name) - are you going to be at โ€œevent nameโ€ on โ€œdateโ€? Would love to connect re โ€œcontentโ€.

Keep it simple:

1. Here is what we do for companies like yours
2. Iโ€™d like to meet

It tends to be quickly read and straight to the point.

I would try to understand why each of your prospects is attending to this event and then put that in your message.

Hi {{first_name}}, saw that you are going to be at {{event name}}, (and know you can say something about their role and some speaker that makes sense for him, or some workshop that will happen...)
