I have given gift cards to collogues/teammates/associates 40-100$ amazon typically

Always wanted to give like 50$ in 1$ increments to a crappy manager, but then thought I would just keep the 50$ instead ><

I got live lobsters sent to my door this year from my CEO which was very unexpected. The look on my face when I opened the box must have been 10/10. Best gift ever even if I had to give it to my neighbors since I canโ€™t kill anything no matter how much it terrifies me. ๐Ÿคช

Dude, I remember buying the N64 the day it came out. I saved up all of my chore money for a year not knowing it was coming out and then had just enough for the console, Super Mario Party, and Legend of Zelda shortly after.

Well, my brother and I did this hahaha. I was 5 and he was 7.

Company branded carry on. Portable Bluetooth speaker. And from customers - giant bottles of excellent wine, and from a wool retailer, a dozen pairs of the BEST wool socks ever.

I was working for a tech company that did a lot of work with retailers. We almost always got the friends and family discounts at Christmas - super cool if you were interested in what some of the companies were selling. But every so often, you'd also get a nice gift.

I actually worked with two wool retailers, now that I think of it. From one, I received a small woolen sheep - I still have it down in my office. It's adorable. The socks are regular wool, not itchy, and I never had cold feet again crunching around in the snow. I have to remember to pack them next month for our trip to Michigan. Warm, toasty toes in freezing weather! It was always a pleasant surprise when your retail/mfg customers thanked you with unexpected gifts.

Sorry, edit to mention who makes those socks: Smartwool. The sheep was from Pendleton.
