Brainstorming small business that could have use for higher-end EV fleet..

have yet to start my new role at this pretty stellar EV company; mostly B2C..

but in the meantime have been educating myself about the company and the vehicles, and also reading articles and metrics regarding EV + Fleet..

However, I'm hitting a wall when it comes to discerning my target audience for EV fleet:

I have rental car companies, private limo/vehicle services and autonomous vehicle companies so far..

A little stumped being a newer industry for me entirely; and would love some fresh ideas if anyone is open to chiming in?

Much love and SADNESS y'all ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ”ฅโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ

Your target audience are companies that have green initiatives, looking to boost public image, want to reverse carbon contracts - so companies that pollute alot have to prove they are doing something to balance out the effects, something like a carbon contract or something, so the more they balance out the more they can pollute or whatever.

This!
Yes, this has definitely been on my mind! But, then Iโ€™m getting stuck on the โ€œwhoโ€ portion ๐Ÿ˜‚
The long and short as well is that the vehicles are more higher end than like a โ€œwork truckโ€ if you will.
So they are definitely a statement piece in some regard as well.
The entry level is on par with the model 3 from tesla however, and they plan to launch a crossover suv in october with impressive rangeโ€ฆ.

ok well take it a step further. Work trucks need constant maintenance, do EV's? How much do they spend a year on fleet mainetence? How many people do they employ, how much down time does it cost? You never have to change the oil, transmission, cooling fluid, radiator, or anything in a tesla. just tires and brakes.

Whats their salvage rate? do they buy a truck, use it for 3 years then decomission it? how expensive is that depreciation? as opposed to buying an EV vehicle and using it for 20?

know your market.

As for the people

you can have different pitches for different companies. for energy pollutors one pitch on the energy savings/contract shit and for another regular company talk about Mainetance/reliability/safety/salvage rate

do you have any customers that can refer you to anyone or provide use cases?

Is this something that you could have asked before starting? Just curious when it comes to this.

Hey, thanks for always being around first and foremost because I like your perspectives;

Most definitely have resources when Iโ€™ll be at the company to decipher a target for outreachโ€”technically my job is geared more to B2C than anything but with my background, the consensus was โ€œI mean hey, if you want to pull the trigger on business too, PLEASE be our guestโ€

Itโ€™s not an expectation to target business and there is no shortage of consumer leads for me to be super successful (part of the reason I took the position), I just want to go above and beyond. I like closing big deals, and considering weโ€™re being paid out per vehicle with multipliers and bonus/vehicle with additions like gap, extend warranty, prepaid services etc.. Looking to maximize that monthly quota

I just want to do my homework before jumping in and asking questions I might already have the answer to, and maybe bring something new to the table as well.

I like your perspective on this. Can't keep a winner from winning. I think that you will be able to crush this thing and hit it running for sure. I hope that you are able to find what you are looking for in this arena.

Thanks! The commission structure and brand are what drew meโ€”itโ€™s going to be a interesting change. If it doesnโ€™t work out Iโ€™ll definitely make the transition back to what I know..but I have a lot of passion for their product so Iโ€™d like to see it turn out
