Took down a nice solid $2M deal to a regional bank in Sept!
Learnings: instead of doing a "giant pitch" to the client on the idea, I had our customer success & support teams pepper the client with it. When I got the C-level exec on the phone, I asked where his head was at on the idea, and he said yeah we're really interested. Push vs Pull, very important difference!
We worked out the details, gave the client a solid deal, and won the business with 0 price negotiation.
It took about 6 weeks of back & forth on legal but glad to bring it home!
