Closed/Lost Email

Howdy...

I'm about to start crafting a short (1-3 emails) campaign to try and re-engage some closed/lost deals from last year.

Curious to know if anyone has any templates or suggestions?

depending on the deal and how far along it was you can take two very different approaches.

1. play dumb and be vauge.
Subject: (first name), can you help me?

Hi (first name),

I saw we have had some conversations around (insert topic) a few months back.

I cant see on my end how that ended up? Is this a project that your still working on?

thanks for helping me out.

2. Be very specific

Subject: (first name), Am i right on this?

Hi (first name),

I know you spoke to my colleuage (name) about 4 months ago about our (tech) and you were looking to solve (problem)

From what I can see you didnt move forward with us because (insert reason)

(then you need to insert a sentance asking if now is a good time to talk and tie is back to the reason. )

let me know your thoughts.

idk. thats what i would do

My go-to last email is

Subject: Did I do something wrong?

Body: {{first_name}}, I'm sorry if I'm annoying. I like sending you emails, but you simply dislike replying to them. What is it that I can do to make a 5-minute phone call to discuss *company* worth your time?

Pretty sure I found this email on here actually. Wish I could give credit to who I got it from but I don't remember. Anyway, this is my last effort email when I've gotten 0 response. It usually generates some sort of response whether its them telling me to call them at a certain time, saying they're no longer interested, or full on telling me to fuck off and leave them alone. Either way, it generates some sort of response from them usually.

That's why its a last-ditch effort. You don't send it after 3 day's of being ghosted. This is after consistent followup to the point you aren't even sure if they're still employed. It's meant to generate a response. I would rather them tell me to fuck off they aren't interested anymore than keep me in the unknown.

They’ll not be able to resist. Go ahead and get the brand Frosted Flakes. You’re worth it.
