People often overlook customers with small spend. This year Ive seen customers with 5k spend 10x it to 50k in a quick succession.

Congrats! Did you do anything specifically in your follow up from the first deal to build that relationship?
My ‘champion’ works in biz dev bidding for large transport contracts. He was in Middle East and the process was very slow. I used to send a drop in email every month and do an update call maybe bimonthly. Honestly think he was a bit lonely and just wanted to chat to someone who cared about the outcome.
If they won we had a big expansion opportunity. They lost.
But brought us in for his next bid that was much large and had a much better dataset for us to work on.
