Just heard about Matt Perry’s death and I’m absolutely heartbroken. I grew up watching him, and sarcasm might be the first thing I bought from him (without him ever trying to sell it).
On the other hand, this is such a strong reminder to take care of ourselves as salespeople. Caffeine, adderalls, cold showers and the like might keep us on our toes in the moment, but the long terms effects can be devastating.
Perry looked pathetic on the friends reunion and though he had a fantastic career as Chandler, not sure if he really ever got out of his drug addiction. I remember one of his interviews where he stated he didn’t even remember shooting 3 seasons of Friends since he was intoxicated all the time.
Rest in peace, Chandler Muriel Bing.
