Just goes to show how important conferences are to help clients connect the dots when the sales person (me) is unable to clearly link. Prospect was "eh" about our solution and then I comped her a ticket to our conference. 36 hours later I had a verbal in hand but you know what that means... it didn't close. Ended up having to wait for new CEO to join the company so she could beg him for $60K in a $4B company... and successfully begged she did.
