Deal took about 60 days. Intro call, custom demo, sandbox program for 3 weeks, contract out and deal done.
Fun story: my main contact was OOO Russia and had a tough time communicating in English \- our intro call was probably one of the coldest intro calls I've had this year. After following up for two weeks and getting no response, I thought the deal would go no where. Turns out, he was out from COVID and by the next call he was all smiles. Four weeks later, we got a deal done for close to $100k.
Lesson learned: if you're selling globally and there is ever a langauge barrier, I find that opening up a sandbox and enableing your champions with content and check-in calls will go a long way.
