Write them heart-felt customized job recommendations. Put them in a nicely framed “emergency break glass” case. Include a hammer.

I’d love to do this but I just took over this team and don’t have enough knowledge on what people like. This would be great.

If someone was to ask one of my colleagues which restaurant I like, they’d have no idea. 🤷‍♀️

I meant that ask around in your 1:1s with them, where they went out to eat and where they like to go out

Handwritten card that my hard work is recognized and valued would be amazing. Doesn't cost a lot.

Are they all local, or do you have a dispersed team?

That makes it tough to know what each person would value most. Honestly, anything you'd send would be really nice, and should be appreciated by your team members. No matter what it is, it is thoughtful. I'm a non-drinker, but I appreciate a nice bottle of wine or liquor - it literally is the thought that counts, and I've always found a great taker for the gift if I personally cannot use it. If you're concerned about non-drinkers, chocolate always goes over well - or a treat from your local region to them.

Can you gift alcohol? A nice bottle of wine always goes over well. If not maybe like a box from Omaha Streaks or something like that would be good.

I could but I found out a few don’t drink.

Take them out a good steak house, let them order what they want, share a toast with them, let them know how much you appreciate them as individuals and as a team, give them gift bags and just sit with them and enjoy all the hard work and war stories that led you this point of enjoyment.

Would recommend either Mugs or Hats with a printed moto for your team on them that will make them feel special or at least saying "Thanks for being a part of our success"!

Ask HR if they can share who has kids and who doesn't. those with kids, send them a movie night or something that they can do with the kids or pay for a night of babysitting so the parents can go out. For those who are single/married but don't have kids I'd recommend something along the lines of expensive sunglasses, nice pair of ugg slippers, IDK have some fun with it....

Take them to a fun event. Sports ball comes to mind but could be so many other things including a night out at the bar!
