A 12-call 6-month cycle with a POC and a negotiation with what I would consider my first real "professional buyer" that had lots of twists and turns and I was for sure that it was dead at one point ultimately resulted in an upfront 2 year commit worth 442k to support user experiences at the firm. Had a great champion and a compelling use case. Really wanted the 3 year but alas, had to give it up in negotiations to ensure they got the value they wanted via the volume.
