Learning how to slow down and celebrate the little victories

Hey people. I have always been one that has been on the go and never really stopped to smell the roses. Now, I have been in an AE position for over 6 months and have been doing well so far, but I feel like I just jump to the next thing immediately.

What are some habits or routines that you all use to slow down and celebrate?

After a sale, i usually text my girlfriend and tell her and then get rejected trying to make a move. Helps bring you back to reality

White Claw. I also work from home. When I close a deal a crack a crisp mango and smile. Then I get back to it. ๐Ÿฅ‚

So now let me ask, does the size of the deal change the celebration?

If the deal is 20% more than your average size you may have 2 white claws

I always buy a really nice bottle of wine and celebrate - usually take the rest of the day off if my schedule allows so I can enjoy the high. Next morning, pretend like I'm starting from $0 again. Rinse, repeat!

Give yourself a day or two to celebrate, and then move-on. Sales is like being a professional athlete, you're only ever as good as your last game/deal.

Celebrate, then get back out on the field.

I have a little vision board I make each month for hitting goals and the reasons I am in sales and what that money will buy, then when I close a deal I can checkmark or fill in what percentage I am to those goals. Works really well for me.

- be around people who're slow: like infants, or grand-Xa

On a daily basis to decompress nothing beats a good sweat.
-join a kickball team or something
-pick an outside hobby (golf, tennis, cycling, drinking outside is also fun)
-do a workout class with a friend

Closing a deal and getting that docusign high is something you will chase for ever once you get a taste. For long term goals pick a place you want to go and start stashing cash to pay for the trip in a different account - watch it grow as the deals come in and celebrate on vacation.
