I built a flower box for the windowsill in front of our kitchen sink. It's pretty large (about 58" across) and somewhat narrow...so there isn't anywhere that sells them.
Hat from Patagonia.
REI gifts card.
New dress. 
New hair clip.
And the kids filled out "Things I Love About Mom" booklets I found on Amazon and created some nice crafts; framed nightstand art, canvas art, etc

Wild curveball this year: my wife woke up to a bricked iPhone, so I spent the better part of 3 hours trying to back door into the phone. Failed several times til I broke down and bought 3rd party software that was able to get in and downgrade to the previous firmware, to get it to boot. She hadn't backed up her phone in a while and was at risk of losing like 3,000+ pictures/videos...so she was losing her shit. On Mother's Day morning. 

So I was the hero, when I finally got it back! haha. <WHEW!>

Absolutely amazing lay out. Since its city owned, if you get it at the wrong time of year, it can be rough shape if you're expecting PGA tour quality.
