How has your company treated you this winter? With inhumanity or compassion? Was your quota raised or cut? Were you thrown into the cold with an unreasonable PIP, or were attempts made to boost your morale? Did you see a colleague being terminated, or getting promoted? Was your company naughty or nice?
Fact check: 2022 was a tough year for tech companies.
While some handled their sales teams with respect & dignity, others thought they could get away with shady shit. While some kept hiring & continued to grow others rescinded offers & misled candidates in interviews. While some provided safe harbor during this tough time, others set unrealistic OTEs. While some were nice, others were quite naughty.
When we asked salespeople if their companies have been naughty or nice this winter, we got bombarded with stories from across the world. While some companies treated their teams like gold, others couldn’t care less and treated them like dirt.
We have the receipts with us - the withholding of commission checks, the bullying and intimidation tactics, the illegal maternity leaves, the bullshit PIPs, and the CEOs lying about their finances.
Now the time has come to call out on the Bullshit! Bravado is here to share what’s really happening under the guise of a “bad economy” and of course, hold the cowards accountable.
We are sick and tired of this continuing to happen to us salespeople. The same bullshit is an endless vicious cycle. It’s now time to hold these companies accountable. so that you can steer clear of these bad actors. And also celebrate those few gems, that deserve to be applauded.
