New role advice!

What's going on everyone,

I'm happy to share I've accepted an offer at a public company (6,000 employees) doing SaaS sales. I am super pumped about it, and will be a Corporate AE.

Now I'm currently an AE at a small software firm with only 100 employees and very limited structure.

I would appreciate some are some advice for a young, married guy like me (24) moving to a new state (Colorado), to start a role at a much larger company in a completely different industry.
Cheers all

I made a pretty detailed onboarding journal a while back about what to do when you join a new company, I’d check that out

This really goes for any job in any industry at any company but will be a bigger focus for you in your new position.

You're an investment. If you pay dividends you can expect to be pretty happy. If you hold value but never increase, you can expect to be invisible. If you lose value and therefore become a liability you're not worth keeping around.

Just did something very similar!

Maybe not exactly what you’re looking for, but actually take as much time as you actually need to move.

This includes a day to just enjoy the new digs with the wife. That may be the most important day actually. Make time for it.
