Some companies use it quite heavily, it can be a good tool believe it or not.
I despise LinkedIn. It’s full of self serving narcissists or company sycophants. I don’t care that your company “gives back” with a charity day. I really don’t care that closed some business with a company. I especially don’t care that you are “proud” (fuck off) to be representing your company at a boring conference. It’s great for finding people and jobs but it ends there.
