Prize labeling

Take 2 on this post. I deleted the original because I was getting pissed people were trying to make excuses on Bravado’s behalf out of pure speculation or muddying up the post by conflating the product I ordered with something else.


i just want the thing that I ordered and I feel like Bravado plays too fast and loose with the labelling of prizes in the commish store…


Take the iPad for example. The picture is clearly an iPad pro but the prize is a standard iPad. I brought this up with @Gasty  and the excuse he gave is that the picture of the standard iPad doesn’t look good… this is prioritizing the aesthetic of the site over clear expectations for users. Not cool.


This brings us to the current situation where I got sent a Nespresso Vertuo Next [$150 CAD] instead of the Nespresso VertuoPlus [$300 CAD] that I ordered.




Do I hate Bravado now? No. But this amateur shit needs to stop.


And for all the haters that were saying:


”at least you’re getting your stuff already” or “you shouldn’t complain for getting free stuff”… None of this stuff is free. I earned it by investing my time and engagement to the site and I would much rather have to wait longer for the right thing than get the wrong thing right away.


This isn’t the first time i got a downgraded product either but I let it slide the first time because it was when Bravado had just started.


All this to say, I just want what I ordered and for stuff to be properly labeled, complete with accurate pictures. is that too much to ask?

Nespresso sucks tbh, not good coffee. Bialetti any day of the week before Nespresso. Got myself a Breville Barista Touch, pricey but worth every penny, struggle to buy coffee now, Starbucks tastes like rats piss in comparison.

@Gasty consider the breville for the commish store. its a great prize.

If I spend months to earn something off the commission store and they dont give me what it states, that's an issue.
I am completely fine on raising the commission to get the VertoPlus but to advertise that one and state the model and not send it is very disappointing.

This shit matters. Our choice on how to spend our commission is based on a perceived value. Take for example the leather travel duffel that was on for 1700 points.

It was a $99 item on Amazon. For me that wasn’t worth the exchange, but imagine if you got the bag thinking it was 40L size and you got a 20L bag instead. I’d be pissed.

1. On Nespresso's US website, the VirtuoNext is priced at USD 134, making it more expensive than the VirtuoPlus at USD 126.

2. If I have the right info, t
he VirtuoNext machine sent to you is actually valued at USD 219 (1.6X the standard price) since it includes the Aeroccino (we tried to do more than we promised).

3.
Shipping to Canada incurs additional taxes, approximately 100 CAD per order, including GST, HST, PST/RST/QST. Like @RandyLahey was quite flexible with us in getting their Xbox delivered to a US address instead of their original Canada one.

4. The perceived price difference between VirtuoPlus and VirtuoNext in Canada MIGHT be due to the unavailability of the regular VirtuoPlus on Nespresso's platform. However, pricier variants like Deluxe remain accessible.

5. Yes, we messed up. And we own it. I'll try my best to get you the item you ordered. Nothing more, nothing less. You might wanna read up the commission terms once which can help you better judge what to do in matters related to false advertising and consumer protection laws - https://info.bravado.co/commission-terms



ps: Regarding iPad 10th gen, recent purchases from the commish store include ones from @GDO 's and @Coffeesforclosers ; they'd be able to tell you if they got a 10th gen or sth else. Also, feel free to share a clear picture of the 10th gen iPad, and I'll change the product image.

No you are right to be annoyed. If it were just the picture I would say probably let it go but since it says on the order confirmation you are getting the plus I would say they owe you the plus or at least some commision points back.
I would feel the same if I ordered the Apple AirTags (which I recieved and love btw) and Bravado sent me Tile Trackers instead. Is it the same thing while also not being the thing I ordered? yes
