My biggest win till now - both in terms of ticket-size and # of schools. This is a district level win sourced via the reseller I've been working with in Taiwan. This single win directly puts us in 40+ schools inside a city in Taiwan.
For perspective, this is a 0.5 Mn NTD (New Taiwanese Dollars) win - which is a hell lot of money there in Taiwan. Also, since this is sourced via a reseller, 45% commission went there (would've been a $28 deal otherwise). A strong and healthy relationship with the reseller is what made us win this one. Everyday communications over text message / phone calls / emails is not uncommon to expect for relationship maintenance.
This was a city govt. bid, and the other reseller we work with was obviously a bit salty on losing out to this reseller. Both want exclusive rights to sell our product in Taiwan which we're definitely NOT going to provide. Right now, both keep a keen eye over each other and report anything fishy the other one is doing - which is good for our business.
With this win, I've put my company's product in 100+ schools in Taiwan now in a little over 100 days since starting my job here as a Founding AE + first-time AE. This also puts me at an attainment of 100k ARR against a target of $200k for the year.
