Revenue Recap 2022 - The Year The Music Stopped

2022 was a wild ride.

At the start, the job market was blazing hot and our coworkers were either getting a random pay bump or a brand new job that paid twice as much. But then Q2 hit and it was all about quiet quitting, jumping ship, and of course - side-hustling! And when Q3 arrived, sh*t hit the fan.

Inflation was on the rise and the Fed was jacking up interest rates like crazy, so companies had to tighten their belts. The result? Mass Layoffs, and a Recession!

But how were the salespeople working in tech affected? How did they make it through Q3 and Q4? How many of them hit quota?

And what about tech companies? How many of them had to adjust their revenue targets and make layoffs? Were they able to provide a decent severance package to the salespeople they axed?

And the big question on everyone's mind: Given the turbulent year, how did sales compensation change relative to 2021? The answer to this one will blow your mind!

In Bravado’s Revenue Recap 2022, we've got the inside scoop from 60k tech companies and 250k sales professionals across 15 countries in our global report.

How do you get on the Bravado Flex? Work is super slow so might as well do something of my time.

@Nairobi: Simply apply through Jobs from the panel on the left of your screen. In case you've already done that in the past, you can use the following workflow to re-apply for a Flex role:
Jobs > Edit work preferences > What employment type are you open to > Flex

Good luck!

I was curious on that too when it came to "re-applying". It doesn't outright say "Flex" though, it says "side-hustles" I'm guessing that is what was meant?

So Gasty I already applied for the available Flex opportunities for almost 2 months ago without being responded and don't know any feedback yet, any hand on that please.

The algorithm running at the backend matches the candidate with the company per the interest areas of both parties. There’s a chance your skill-set might not have matched with the potential employers. But I can get this cross-checked too.

This is tough to see and makes me worrisome for what the rest of 2023 has in store for sales folks and layoffs. My company raised quotas even though majority of the sales folks didnt hit 100% and good portion didnt even get close. But the company had best year ever in 30 years. So they hired more sales folks raised quotas doesnt make sense
