Sales Dev Best practices in ANZ (Australia, New Zealand)?

I have a new client that we're bringing on to help them launch their ToFu for the AUS and NZ markets. It's SaaS. My expertise is in NorAM markets. Any key differences I need to be aware of as we launch?

tofu usually looks like, targeted web ads, landing page, email/linkedin candence, cold calls.

I worked for a company that was acquired by an Australian company and this is something that I remember (copy from Google but whatever, I didn't want to type it all out):

Perhaps the biggest cultural difference between the two nations is โ€˜tall poppy syndromeโ€™. In the USA, standing out and making oneself heard is important. In Australia, what is seen as attention-seeking behavior is quickly shot down. This is partly a throwback to the British roots of many Australians, but it affects the way individuals present themselves โ€“ and the way they judge others.Understanding this culture is important when selling to Australians or Americans. Australians may use humor and come across as self-deprecating. Americans value showmanship and a convincing sell, which Australians may regard with skepticism. Both cultures, though, value a professional and slick presentation.

Use a lot of swear words and donโ€™t forget to end every piece of content with โ€œTHROW ANOTHA SHRIMP ON THE BARBIโ€

As a Kiwi, living in Australia, selling to Americans, I got you fam.

We swear a lot, but donโ€™t say the c word at work unless you work at a pub on the Gold Coast or down a mine.

We def see you guys as โ€œhyper Americanโ€ sometimes and confidence can come off as arrogance very easily. But we do actually love you as long as you arenโ€™t wearing a maga hat (sorry not sorry)

We sometimes get a chip on our shoulder about being small and far away (kiwis esp) and love talking about our fancy American clients/vendors.

Nearly everyone is obsessed with sport, esp the guys, but none of your weirdo football or baseball games.

Decision makers are nearly 50/50 men/women, and itโ€™s really diverse.

There literally are spiders everywhere in Aus so people are scared of NOTHING. DO YOUR WORST! Kiwis are literally the sweetest, they make Canadians seem tough.

Pretty much the same - but take the zโ€™s out of your copy. ANZ use British English not American.
If you get a call or meeting, look up their location ahead of time and be able to ask a question or give a local comment. Great for building rapport from overseas.
Australia is actually massive (same land mass as USA) but nearly everyone lives in Sydney or Melbourne. Kiwis are sick of talking about Lord of the Rings ๐Ÿ˜‚

Also the cost of living in NZ is high so they will likely be more price sensitive that Australia
