SDR / BDR roles experience

I noticed a trend of some solid tech companies now requiring 1-2 years of post-grad experience for an entry level SDR / BDR role. Thoughts?

If they’re solid, they prob get a lot of applications and can afford to be picky.

Meant post-grad experience not including internships. I have just seen some AEs on LinkedIn with a couple years of experience jumping to SDR/BDR roles at better companies

This sounds about right, because of the higher supply, bigger companies can afford to switch the applicant pool to those who have a year or two of SDR experience at smaller companies. Get a foothold wherever you can

Yeah, I think if they want to see quick results people with experience are best suited for the job. Kind of obvious if you think about it, i dunna

College plus 1-2 years… they want people with a little life experience.
