“Selling Through Curiosity”

Have you taken this sales training independently or at a company as part of enablement?

Is it worth it? What'd you think?

I took this training as part of the company I am at now "did it about 2 years ago". It's a solid training, not the greatest IMO but good to work on the skill of layering & digging in.

I am curious to learn a bit more on this - which part of sales does this training focus on?

It could be applied to all aspects of the sales process, but I found it most impactful in the disco/demo portion of the sales process.

It’s a question of, do I delay my new start date to take this training or gtfo?

Is your company offering it, or will you be paying for it out of pocket?

All the training I've done has been paid for by the companies for which I've worked. I'm not familiar with this specific one, but do think any training that helps you expand your methods can be very helpful. From the comments I've gotten from other savages, we all seem to follow bits and parts of several methodologies. When your company puts you through training, it's usually to not only help reps refine their craft, it's also to build on a common terminology. In any case, if you do move forward with training, take as much of it as you can and apply what's relevant and will help you.

Is this the premise of the training? It’s an actual program they put on for sales teams around the world.

It works all the time. Not because enablement says so, but because that's the only hack of a good discovery. A good discovery mostly would guarantee a good sale. The more curious you are more, the more right questions you ask.

"selling through curiosity" is an actual sales training program, not just a principle. That is what I was asking about here. I should have been more clear.
