Was able to work with another rep at my company who transitioned this account over to me after getting the opportunity started with one of our implementation partners.
The hand-off was smooth like silk, and we stayed partnered on a split for the first two months as we attempted to drive an early quarter close...
One of the interesting learnings on this deal was after being selected as the vendor of choice, the Vortex IT team requested we bring two other implementation partners into the fold to have all three propose a bid for the work.
Ultimately the team chose the original partner who ran pre-sales with us on this account and we're all collectively fired up by the decision.
