VoyAir - Chronicles of a Road Warrior - Part 2, The Yin and Yang of Travel

A trip to pitch in St Louis today at 3PM. A quick trip. Awesome. Couldn't find a flight back same day. Gotta return tomorrow. Shit. Packing was easy. Only needed return flight clothes. Cool. Still have to carry the travel bag. Bahh.

Woke up at 4AM to make a 6AM flight. Painful. Not a car on the road on the way to the airport. Awesome. Flight delayed- connecting flight in jeopardy. FML. Pilot floored it. Made the connector. Sweet! Got a last minute first class upgrade. Ballin'.

Wrote this post 2 hours ago. Bad internet. Couldn’t post it. Flight is arriving early. Badass! It’s been an exceptionally turbulent ride. Gonna hurl, Bro!

Landing at 1:30 with an hour drive to the meeting. Rental waiting. Should be able to get in and out no problem and make the meeting on time. Eazy! Then an hour drive back to the hotel. Fuck!

The pitch will clearly go only one way or the opposite other. Sort of hoping for a flat tire on the way as deal insurance.

The VoyAir part? This dude and the lady with the Louis Vuitton portfolio filled with financial statements across the aisle. I think she digs me, or finds me repulsive. Definitley one or the other.

Gotta love the travel shit show I had a similar situation going to and from philly last week. Had a cheesesteak so it was worth it.

Ah love it, sounds like my life. Im living the serial traveler at the moment, got flight 67 and 68 of 2024 coming up tomorrow.
Flying makes you appreciate how much humanity sucks, really see the worst of it.
And to make things better, the flight i take weekly just moved to 5am, so thats me up and going 3am at least once a week as it stands. 100% FML.
At least Vancouver has cute bunnies in the rental car lot to brighten the day. @Sunbunny31
