A landing page with a form? Seems like a standard way to enable what youโ€™re doing and marketing is ACTUALLY good at this.ย

We want to see if anyone is doing it on the sales side as well - capturing leads with live links to the deck - not landing page - then lead magnet deck - then sales engages.ย

Agreed, it's a super effective Marketing tactic, we're just trying to understand if sales teams ever do this

So I gotta fill out a form on your website to click through a PDF of your deck?

We're thinking more like "provide email to access" for outbound use cases. Not driving to a landing page at all.ย

Essentially, turning all .pdf's into sending microsites, and then necessitating an email to access the deck.ย

Say you send a deck in a community, on a forum, or someone shares your material on social - tracking from send to landing page to lead email capture is tougher. We're thinking a unique-link, someone shares it out, email capture to access - you know the exact origin point of the lead.

TL:DR Making any sales deck a microsite with lead capture

Information wants to be free! Also, a sales deck without context or conversation is practically useless.ย  I don't think the juice is worth the squeeze.ย

Are you in marketing?

Formerly, yes. Now in an inbound sales role for sales software. So, I'm trying to understand if some of the tactics from marketing transfer to sales teams - if I'm completely missing the mark, or if anyone else is doing something similar

Nothing at all. Noted. May I ask why? Is it a lack of value prop? Or your process doesn't necessitate it?
