The main allure for me is being able to vent and joke about sales bullshit with complete anonymity, Mark A from Oracle.

Having your engagement rewarded with a few toys doesn’t hurt either. And, occasionally, some people drop insights that help gain perspective.

However, I think what you’re mostly referring to is the job recruiting part of this whole thing and I agree, that part is complete trash. #SorryNotSorry 💁🏻‍♀️

Two sides to this site. One is the recruiting arm. The other is the forum, unrelated, and the antidote to LI platitudery. Anonymity is how we thrive, tbh. I’ve learned a lot from my fellow AEs. Maybe they’ve learned a little from me. It’s not all ball-busting, but it also isn’t a big sales circle-jerk like LI mostly is.

Not sure what’s up with invitations, because I don’t get them and would ignore them anyway, because anonymity is important to me here.
