This is a general question that I'm wondering so it can be related to anything in your life that you deal with either personal or within work.

To a point. Even all of the empathy in the world sometimes isn't enough.

I’m patient when I’m paid to be (during work) and an impatient asshole outside of work.

I'd say I am not patient at all. I temper it by always working a lot of different deals. I'm able to be more patient by knowing that momentum is always heading in the right direction.

I'd say, in general, we are. There's always the exception, that one person (or type) that pushes your buttons but that's manageable.
