This was a nice win. A pain to meet the client after our successful POC implementation. We were Bud down by a weaker competitor and had to cut our price by 30% to get in their ballpark and help the client have defensible information on this purchase. Starting our quote over 50% above list helped cover the discount margin :-).
We dealt with the head of legal applications, the AI/ML team and the CTO who owned the budget. All stakeholders tested our platform and rated it the highest during the POC making the decision easy once we got to a price point that worked.
The POC ran 6 weeks and negotiations an additional 8. Not a bad turn around time from a virtual conference meeting.
