Hey anon savages,
I am in a quandary.. I signed with my company on the basis that I would be made fully employed at some stage.. I am now technically a self employed contractor and its due to various reasons I said I absolutely had to be employed.
Fast forward to the time when I asked for it to happen, I was met with 'its too expensive, we will review in 2-3 months'
Now I cant accept that, so I had to reluctantly start looking for a role elsewhere.
I have a 2nd meet ith a small startup in my niche sector, that is a friend of a friend and they seem like they need me big time.. It would be a fully employed role but the trouble is its a tiny company of 5 staff and I would be the whole sales team...
I have spent almost a year working my tits off with my company and we are also just on the cusp of the 'final product' which would alleviate all the shit we had lost deals to before...
But the problem remains, if I stay, I have no guarantee of becoming employed and then this opportunity I am considering will vanish.
Its a very difficult situation but I find my self between a rock and hard place on what to do..
What would you do? I think I have already decided to jump ship as the relationship has been ruined by the agreement we made being thrown in the trash..
Oh and the small company would pay me more in salary but the deals and pipeline will take time to build up obviously
Thanks in advance folks, look forward to your remarks ๐
