Are Friday afternoons a good time to call?

I was reading through Bravado's Cole calling module and saw "Monday mornings and Friday afternoons are out".

I agree with Monday am but Friday afternoon? I have decent luck booking people in the afternoon on Fridays. people are typically in a good mood, if they're busy I say I get it I'll call ya next week.

how do you feel about Friday afternoon?

I have had some of my best days on Friday. When I was a BDR I set 9 appts in a matter of 3 hours(typical appt for the whole day in my industry is about 2 in a day)

Every time is a good time unless there are extenuating circumstances (think Israel).

How I operate: some people will be better to call in the am, some the pm, some on a Monday when it’s hot and nice outside, some on a Thursday when it’s rainy. Who knows the mind of a prospect…

What I do know is if I can hit all of these touch points with a prospect, I will maximize my chance of getting them to pick up —> call at all points of the day, but change up times you are calling so that everyone can be reached.

Chances are you are going to leave a message. something like: "I know it's Friday afternoon and I hope you are already into your weekend. Clearly I am not, and it was important to me to try to connect with you this week. I will try you again next week and hopefully we can connect and discuss ........" To me, that says a lot about you.
