Fortunately, my crypto wasn't on FTX. I got in back in 2017, so am still up 150%, but that's WAAAAAY off the highs I was once at. Should have got out a year ago. [sigh]
Not sure of what constitutes big time, but we lost 5 figures. As an investor, itโs totally our fault that we took higher than normal risk and then decided to apply patience. You know, letโs just hold on and see if it recoups. That type of patience.
In hindsight we shouldโve liquidated everything and put it into an account earning 3%.

Reason i was curious is i read somewhere that crypto has lost $158bn in value over the last week or so and was wondering how many on here have been impacted. 5 figures is still a painful loss, im sorry about that bro.

Lost a couple hundred dollars, but had a few friends lose more than that.

Really crazy what is going on, I never got into it, but thought about dipping into crypto since it was so lown recently. But since stocks are low too I can't see a reason to put much into them right now
I just find it crazy how much value has been written off, i read that the Ontario Teachers Pension had over $98mil invested into it ๐ตโ๐ซ
