Good morning and happy Friday my fellow savages.
TL;DR - Original post --> https://bravado.co/war-room/posts/need-some-advice-colleague-is-cheating-scamming - this individual fucked around and FOUND OUT.
Ah, sometimes there is justice in this world. I was feeling a bit depressed frankly, and simply could not understand how this scam could go on for this long.
After all of your wonderful advice, I thought it through and decided to be patient. And keep receipts. A few weeks went by and nothing happened, with scammer becoming evermore blatant.
I kept thinking, this can't go on much longer, can it? Suddenly I am worried there are others involved in this scam...
As luck would have it, a colleague of mine received a call from scammer's account, and boy is it bad. I've been in boiler rooms where reps where stealing from each, but blatantly stealing from customers?
Still, I decided to wait...and as we wrapped up our quarter, scammer turned on the taps to max fraud leverage. I'll keep this vague, but essentially this individual broke our record for monthly sales, in a day.
I couldn't sleep that night, as certain individuals where cheering this scammer on. It reached a point where my patience suddenly felt like complicity.
I gathered my colleagues and we went straight to our manager. With recordings, receipts etc.
I'll give them credit, they canned him by day's end. I wouldn't be surprised if there are legal ramifications that follow this episode. If I was this customer, I would absolutely get the police involved.
Funny how human nature is a constant. This fucking bozo got so damn greedy, they likely could have kept this up for much, much longer.
Have a great Friday everyone. They say you shouldn't cheer for the downfall of others, but I am most certainly having a celebratory scotch tonight.
