Customer you hyped?

Hey all-

I've sold to a lot of consumer facing businesses in my career that enabled me to hype them up if they were nice/cool/fun/not shitty customers to work with. On the other hand, people who were rude or shitty would often get me to make sure my friends did NOT buy their stuff.

Is this just a me thing or have some of y'all hyped up prospects to their potential customers just because of the way they did business with you?
