day 7

why day 7, well i by mistakenly sent a message powered by ai to a person in real estate , i talked to him and he was a very friendly man

went for the interview , got hired , it was on my 7th day after i took a deep breath and decided to relax and focus one thing .

now few things to note

no one in that firm gets any salary except the admin(comission based work)
i worked for a week getting training learning places and the boss is teaching me actively
now im on a 2 week break due to exams

i didnt post anything since i havent done anything big yet

my plan is to gain experience in sales

i plan on going into automobile sales next year

and then maybe tech sales

for now im stuck with acing my exams and its gonna be tough but this has given me oppurtunity to grow and learn , im not worried about money but i definitely wanna make some, pray for me .

My man I can appreciate the enthusiasm keep that shit up. In sales you’re gonna need it.

if i can make a recommendation here though, what I’d would say is this: I would pick a field and stick to it for a few years.

It’s gonna be really hard to crack that nut and start seeing real money flowing if you don’t give it time to learn the fundamentals and the industry specific skills.

This real estate thing could be a great opportunity for you, in all honesty I’d choose that over auto sales (unless you’re going into high end luxury auto sales)

Definitely planning on luxury auto , I see the market shift towards cars in the next 10 years because of electrical vehicles being used more, and almost nobody likes electric cars , they like to feel the car moving . Real estate has this thing of going to apartments, taking pictures , and meeting clients in the apartments and a whole lot of hassle, besides the competition in real estate in Dubai is insane, I will definitely consider your advice , even if real estate is hard, I'll try harder . Maybe get a driving license make life easy . Thank you .

Totally fair. And knowing that you’re in Dubai makes all the difference. I have close family that have lived there 20+ years, they’ve had considerable success in commercial real estate, I’d recommend that over residential/ condos/ villas as I would agree the competition in residential is very tight

gotta give it to you, you know some real shi* , my peers in real estate want to move to commercial, higher commissions and less hassle, btw im in abu dhabi but i plan on switching states , either way im gonna talk to the boss and focus on commercial. thank you
