Building a personal brand on LI helped me land jobs quicker than I could sneeze. but once you have one, besides job security. What's the value of it? I absolutely abhor smashing my enter button and speaking all fucking political yet 'honest'. Thats why most of us are here.
My question is if you personally continue to build your brand on linkedin, how, and why?
When I do do it I usually:
- shitpost - random shit about my habits/life/background
- valuepost - how to not be a shittySDR/manager
- sobpost - a personal intimate story about where I came from, what I learned, and encouragment to the rest
I try to keep it real asf. I want to go deeper with my backstory & who I am, but then again who the fuck cares? IDK. those sobposts get me the most engagement, the value posts get great convos, and the shitposts show my personality too.
Balancing professional/personal/branding?
Help a kid out,
Much love,
That kid
