No treadmill but just pace around the office like I am an animal stuck in a cage and that seems to work well.   On average I am walking around 2.5-3 miles per day around the office on the phone...my colleagues probably hate me but I need to get my steps in and I am to cheap to buy a treadmill for under my desk.  Also if I ever get shit canned I want all my stuff in 1 box and don't want to be that person walking across the parking lot dragging a treadmill behind me.

here for this! i have ALL the things in my home office and the latest one is a treadmill.

I got a small one just for walking that has arms that come up but the top is flat so you can put a computer on it.

I thought this was awesome. and its pretty nice.

BUT

I SHOULD have bought one that didnt have the arms and just the walking piece. because when i set my laptop on the treadmill its way to low. and I cant take the arms off to slide under my desk with a standing desk converter.

So if i was going to buy it again, I would buy one that can slide under my existing desk.

( i ideally want a REAL standing desk and a flat treadmill. thats the dream)

I'm legit thinking of getting one for the office since my fat ass sits all day. I don't have a standing desk though, so I'm not sure how well I could work on it.

Boss also moved right next to my office (guess he wants to be close to the magic show) so I'm worried about making too much noise.

Exactly my thought. Might interrupt his cottage/car/new business buying that he's doing with all that money I'm making him though.

I think that'll be my next buy. A treadmill, right in the office. Thanks for the idea.

I like the electronic sitting/standing desks, but think the treadmill would be a bit much for me.

My dog keeps my step count plenty high.

I have one in my office. And during the winter I spent 2 hours a day on it, it was the catalyst that started my journey of finding my health again. Nothing better than taking a stupid internal call from the treadmill desk.

I´m thinking about it as well. Wanted to buy it with the WFH stipend but went for golf clubs :D

Could be a decent idea but I know I would fall and mess up stuff

Heard mixed things, I would almost try to find a way to demo first. Since I wouldnt want that to take up the entire office room for me to use every once in awhile.
