eBay RIF'd 1000 today - 9% of its employees.

The bloated tech org slashing continues. Or maybe this one is the same but different. They're not nearly as novel or compelling any more. Their fees are insane. So, their prices aren't special. They dialed it back to focus more on collectables. It ain't working.

But at least they've now positioned the company for "long-term, sustainable growth."

Oh.

Decent place to buy sneakers that you plan on wearing. Outside of that rare purchase Ebay isn't even a thought for me.

Probably showing my age a bit but I remember when people use to do mystery packages on there and a friend of mine did that and they busted him when there was never a PS3 in the boxes. Remember kids, always put at least one PS3 in the mystery box scam you're running on Ebay.

Brex laid off 20%. Some companies are telling employees to to stay hush about layoffs too aka Tropic.

I mean a Tropic competitor was stalking down people for their RIF posts that were โ€œtoo honestโ€. They are now a shell of what they were about a year ago.
