Economy in crisis = cryptos?

Many of my colleagues, family, and friends lately are investing in cryptos because of the economic catastrophe that plagues my country. Many of them are obtaining returns that are good for our economy (I mean, in many countries due to inflation, earning 100 or 500 dollars a month is a great salary... no, I'm not kidding) BUT I've also seen many people scammed and a lot of outdated information on networks and false information, that's why I want to ask you, do you think it's worth investing time to understand and study that market? selling cryptos is complex? With what medium or platform do they do it?
