Note that I said close, not that you are..

I'm not the only one that seems to think so. Not downvoting or reporting you or anything like that though.

There's a ton of new people that don't quite understand that this place is anonymous and that there are rules.

Welcome to the WR, and congrats on your success in this field.

I just closed out my reply to your comment with the yelling, I appreciate the most recent one. Not trying to be a dick.

Have a good one!

the point of posting this interview (which wasn't really targeted at the audience in Bravado) is to perform a public service.

I spent 15 years in traditional sales (professional services, SaaS) then 10 years in sales consulting and now that I'm in high-ticket sales have found this latter world is TOTALLY invisible to traditional AEs/SDRs.

And this world is

a) eminently better suited to their skills
b) earns one hella more

I'm not familiar with this field. Are you selling enrollment in programs (investing, fitness, etc.)?

YES! You got it.

You exactly got it.

I feel like this post needs a glossary of terms to understand it. What is RCA? What are offers? What is anybody talking about for half an hour?

hmmmm.
i didn't think it would be that hard to figure.
what might you think an "offer" is, in a sales context?

An offer is a promise, or claim, about a transformation.
The Salesforce Enterprise Edition offer is "standardize your enterprise revenue team on the top CRM, with all the integrations and partner support that implies"
The Notion offer is "a better database than Evernote for all your documents - organize your life by putting everything you need to remember into our software"
The Bravado offer is "join a community of AEs and SDRs where you can level up your skillset with specific training and peer feedback"

.... and so on

RCA is Cole Gordon's Remote Closer Academy (www.closers.io). You can find them on facebook. Watching their ads will intro you to the high-ticket sales world

Interesting.

So High Ticket Sales is selling self help programs?

I didnโ€™t quite get all the jargon - offer, interview, RCA. Itโ€™s not a world Iโ€™m familiar with.

Seems all very MLM. I donโ€™t want to downplay it all, just understand it better.

fair enough.
wow - i guess this world IS really new to traditional SaaS salespeople.

High ticket offers are offers >5k, primarily sold online, by people like

- Tony Robbins/Dean Graziosi
- Frank Kern
- Tai Lopez
- Pace Morby
- Russell Brunson
- Cole Gordon
- Traffic and Funnels

Categories of offer include
- Amazon and Walmart automation (stores)
- Sales coaching
- Agency coaching (how to build or scale an agency)
- Ecommerce
- Fitness/health (like Kinobody)
- Credit (eg. how to get 650k in funding within 12 months using business AND personal credit)
- Real estate investing (eg. starting a wholesaling business, getting your first seller financing/subTo deal)

Leads typically find the offer via an ad (fb, Youtube)
or a community (e.g. a facebook group)
they fill out a form (e.g typeform, jotform)
and either get a call from a setter for qualification, or in some cases go straight to a call with a closer

A setter is like an SDR
A closer is like an AE

Typical closer earnings in this space (commission only, there's no base usually) are 10k/mo
Top closers do 40k to 50k per month
