Been a slow burner. Typical hardnosed builder type that wanted to push us around. The beauty of knowing that he needed us to do the job and I was prepared to not do the deal if it wasn't on our terms made it more satisfying to win.
Also the price crept up $5k because his assistant had withheld some key information at the initial pricing stage, so we put our price up once it came to light. Wasn't happy, had a rant, ordered anyway.
