FAA Sh*tshow this morning

Anyone here had their day screwed over by the gong show going on in the US with flights?


I am amazed the whole US airspace is practically closed by a glitch, unreal.


If you have been, a fellow traveler is sending good vibes, fortunately not in the air today. Im just hoping the back log washes itself out by the weekend, supposed to be in Denver next week.

True, I just cant quite take in that every single flight in the US and inbound to the US from anywhere else this morning was grounded, its unprecented.

I took over 100 flights last year and at that level you have your fair share of disruption which you learn to deal with this but the whole of the US being shut down in the air is something else.

Truly crazy! First thing this morning I was actually a little worried it was a cyberattack - like our country can be crippled just by thatโ€ฆI couldnโ€™t help but laugh at the recent Southwest debacle - update your damn software people!

Well thats what got me thinking, surely it cant be that vulnerable but imagine if it was. Institutions like FAA surely get 100's if not 1000's of attempted cyber attacks a day.

ah good luck! You got the best approach there, if it goes wrong just put your head down and ride it out, loosing your ๐Ÿ’ฉ over a flight doesnt achieve anything.

Not today, but pretty recently I did have a cluster of a mess with both American & United around the holidays going to and from one single place, that involved cancelled flights & lost bags.

i had family get delayed to hours this morning because of it.

I have family coming into town on friday.....if those flights get delays....thats fine . ๐Ÿ˜‚
