Fired today

I was fired today, but interviewing and in last step interviews with other companies.
I was actually going to leave anyways, but its just schocking anyways.

Is there a scenario where its worth telling the other companies that I was fired?

Don't. It's gonna backfire. I believe in transparency but you can't be transparent with companies. They don't wanna hear that you were fired. No matter what. Keep that job on your resume and interview as is.

I got my current job (love it, complain about it sure, but love it) while I was unemployed for a month. DON"T SAY SHIT is my advice to you sir. Honesty on all the other aspects. Dress like you just came from work and act like you have work meetings to get to if your potential job stuff goes long.

I don’t think you need to disclose that to a potential employer. If you weren’t at the company long, I may not even include it on your resume. If you were there for a while, I’d include it on your resume as too long of a gap in employment is a red flag. Most people I know that have been fired simply explain that their past role wasn’t a good fit. You can explain this in a positive way.

Can`t think of any, but curios to see if any of the other savages here come up with one? :)

If you're in the final stages it seems irrelevant. Just keep going through the process and get that offer.

Here is how you address this situation:

That is the complete summary that you should tell companies you are interviewing with, I hope this has helped

Transparency will open scrutiny and potentially scuttle your opportunities. Don’t do it b

Why do you want to do that? I cannot think of any scenario unless the recruiter knows about the company level lay offs and they ask if I was a part of it

hmm yeah i cant think of a reason to bring it up unless you are asked.

And depending on what the reason your were fired was, i would say you were "laid off". im assuming most companies wont bat an eye at that,

Never tell anyone that. Just hurts you. Unless they ask or if you have an offer you can say “I think my current company found out I am interviewing.” That way you are covered either way.

Did they give you a severance package? It may be a blessing in disguise.

Even if it’s expected, it’s still a kick in the nuts.

Sorry man, good luck to you.

You're in final stages of interviews? Good for you.

Just add my +1 to the overwhelming vote to not say anything. There's no benefit to doing so.

If you were fired, yoy still have a month or two weeks when you're employed? So I wouldn't tell.

Nope, don't unless they ask and the best answer is to refer to a mass layoff and not personal so that they you won't finger point things at you for not being a good fit!

If it just occurred and you are in final stages, then there is no point in bringing it up no good can come from it. In the future if it's asked about it's much better to refer to it as a layoff then a firing. companies aren't allowed to say the reason for dismissal and no one will challenge a layoff story that occurred around this time.
