For those who have hired before. Go to Interview questions

Hi Bravado community.
Reaching out for any help or guidance. I have my first set of interviews I am on the hiring side for which are Sr. level outside roles. I've had interviews before however this time I'm in a higher leadership role and hiring people that are a major part of our revenue stream.
Does anyone have any experience in higher level hunter hiring interview questions I could reference that are your go to's or a resource that would be helpful?
I appreciate any insight into this!

Seems off topic but I always like to ask them to tell me about the worst job they’ve ever had. Any great workers that I’ve had work for or with me have had a crap job in their past and they appreciate a good company/boss, the ones that haven’t had any real negative experiences tend to have a more entitled attitude

It’s all yours, let us know how it goes! It’s fun to be in that side of the table sometimes

Ever have a manager that understood you?
Tell me what they understood.

This should reveal much.

I would focus on questions around (1) how they manage the overall sales goals to build what each rep/region should be bringing in, and (2) what how do their develop their people, focusing on sales strategy and other exec support, and (3) what do they do if they are below target at various points in the year or miss all together.

Those show acquisition, management, and divestiture - the lifecycle of a salesperson.

I know this seems like a lot but Chris Orlob had a great segment a while back on hiring A Players. Lots of questions but so many are made to reveal patterns.

They call me Daddy, Sales Daddy
Tell me about yourself. That one should be easy but people screw it up all the time.

Tell me about a time when… You should have 4-5 of these answers ready to go.

Tell me about your biggest/latest/hardest/worst deal. Again, you should be ready for these with solid answers.
