Friday Firing

Well it has come to this. I was fired at the crack of 9am. I knew they were trying to force me out and since I wouldn't leave they had no choice but to can me. 

I guess the real kicker is that they are trying to say that the shitty $8k quarterly commission check I got this month was my severance. They are also trying to say that it was prepayment for my $1.4M deal I closed. If I don't sign my separation agreement they will try and claw back the payment. $8k was the commission I earned for sales outside of the $1.4M deal. 10% was my rate on that beast. The math ain't mathin'.

When I said these people were the worst, I wasn't lying. I've reached out to Dan Goodman to advise thanks to many awesome folks here who made the recommendation! 

On to better things... But most importantly, a long weekend to decompress.

Karma will come back to them tenfold. The company won't make it in the long run anyhow. There is a total lack of integrity there and they lie to themselves, customers, and prospects. The product doesn't work and never has. There is a sense of relief knowing that my name won't be attached to their pathetic product and smoke and mirrors. Cheers to a long weekend!

I had a similar situation (albeit with a lot less money on the table) where I had to walk away from a shady AF organization that kept me up at night b/c it clashed with my integrity (yes I have some somewhere, I think its under the armpit or one of the toes). Walked away to no backup plan but knew immediately I made the right choice b/c I breathed easier and slept better immediately.

Keep the head up and keep being the Pro you are and you'll find greener pasture and feel better about every aspect of life b/c of it.

Also stay on these fucks for any kind of legal/money issue so they can burn even faster. Involved federal/state gov't orgs that protect workers rights/$$. Shit you got some time now, talk to a Senator and let them use this to fill their reelction coffers and be on the right side of the worker/employer debate.
