Have you seen Bo Burnham: Inside ?

Well, my weekdays are generally super packed and the weekends generally go by with chores.

So I've made a Sunday night movie night ritual for myself.

Yesterday I watched Bo Burnham's latest Netflix special and was not quite sure how I felt about it.

I do not mind dark comedy but this dude is either really good at his act or needs help ages ago.

Where am I going with this? I don't know.

I haven't seen this but I do like dark comedy. I like comedy in general.

I like Bo. I feel is one of the up and coming "greats"

Did you know most comedians think Nathan Fielder and Demetri Martin are true masters? They both make most of their money writing/selling jokes to others.

Take a look at their stuff. "Nathan on your side" or any of his prefame youtube stuff/This Hour has 22 Minutes... (Watermelon slice, when you know, you'll laugh)

Nathan and Bo are my top tier comedians. I know it's not everyone's level of comedy but they hit me just right.
Nathan for You is probably my all time favorite show. Inside was just incredible.

I haven't seen it. I've been on the internet for way too long, because the Bo Burnham I remember was the emo-kid looking one who used to make silly tongue in cheek songs/raps on Youtube.

IK what you mean, I skimmed over his other performances, didn't quite understand how he managed to have shows with seats at full capacity.

His style was pretty juvenile when I was aware of him, I guess I'd check out one of his more recent performances but tbh I tend to stick with the same few comedians these days because I just don't find many comedians all that funny anymore.

I just watched it yesterday. I love Bo. He and I are the same age and I feel like he, more than anyone else, kind of "gets" our generation. I respect that he doesn't put out anything unless he really has something to say.

I think he's kind of a genius and very astute.

I feel that Bo created something extremely unique with Inside and he is a master of his craft. Seems to be that it is all scripted, but born out of truth or his experience, as he picks at the morbid undertones of society.
