How often does your whole company meet? Is it useful?

Working at a company that does a company wide call weekly, we've grown so much though in the last 2 years that I think it's losing a bit of its impact and people tend to tune out.


What is the thoughts on this and how frequently do your companies meet (online)?


Or is it just management that meets and the rest of the company is siloed?


Would love thoughts on what works/ what doesn't!

We’re pretty small, <20 people. We meet every Monday and it’s definitely beneficial

Right now we do weekly but we’re around a year old, so it’s key, especially when we’re all in different corners of the globe and timezones . Eventually after full launch well scale back to monthly. Usually the calls are really productive sometimes they’re kinda difficult tho

my team meets weekly and it's effective. I think we're all on the same page that weekly morale meetings are a bunch of crap. our weekly meeting is intended to take all updates shared in slack and bring 'em into a single place. deck's shared out afterwards and we don't need to go sifting through channels. it's great.

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
They're tuning out, I can guarantee it. We rarely have more than 75% of the company attend those calls these days.
