HubSpot AE vs LinkedIn AE

I have a friend looking to move from Salesforce AE. She just texted me this:

"If you had to choose between being an AE at LinkedIn selling their learning solution or AE at hubspot, which route would you go."

what do you all think?

Hubspot all day.

CRM is a must have for businesses.
LI learning is a nice to have luxury.

In this economy you go with the must have solution,

From a 1-dimensional, boredom, hair-pulling perspective, not even a choice. Hubspot.

I was thinking this too. Biggest choice in CRM is between HubSpot and SF. They would know both intimately and would have a lot more credibility.

Hubspot. LinkedIn AE would be great in sales nav or talent development.
LinkedIn learning aka lynda.com is a nice to have.

Hubspot is looking to displace SFDC in many ways and more people are acclimating to it. LI isn't a bad option but Hubspot seems to be more promising

I sold to LnD ( learning and development) for 7 years. Its tough. When budgets get cut - usually “training” gets hit first. Hubspot would be a better choice imo.

I have a friend who was part of layoffs at both Salesforce and Linkedin both times as an ENT AE.
Go with Hubspot..

If you can’t sell the best CRM in the market, what makes you think you can sell the 3rd or 4th best CRM? LinkedIn is probably the best at what they do.

Hubspot. LinkedIn is not for real sellers

As a former Salesforce employee, Hubspot is def the choice! Also - conversations, prospecting, discos, pain points, etc. will be relatively the same as at Salesforce and ramp time will be absolutely minimal.
LinkedIn Learning will be a longer ramp curve for sure.

As a LinkedIn employee, I’d say go to hubspot! The learning quota is tough and the quotas as weighted between learning and talent.

I am about 2 months into my Hubspot tenure (via acquisition) and I have to say I am pretty impressed.
